Dr. Chris Rothstein
Dr. Rothstein is a highly respected Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. He is board certified and fellowship trained in minimally invasive imaging guided vein and artery procedures. He has been treating varicose veins and spider veins in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for more than 16 years, making him one of the most experienced vein physicians in the region.
In 2002, Dr. Rothstein became one of the first in the area to use the Venefit™ radiofrequency varicose vein device, formerly called the VNUS Closure™ device. Dr. Rothstein has been named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine in every issue since he began practicing in the Washington Metropolitan area in 1998. He has also been named a Top Doctor by Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine many times, including the most recent issue.
Dr. Rothstein was raised in the Washington D.C. area and attended local public high school. He attended Georgetown University for undergraduate and Medical School. After completing his Residency at the University of California, San Francisco and his Fellowship at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, he returned home to the D.C. area to begin his professional career close to family and good friends. Dr. Rothstein is an avid Redskins, Wizards and Capitals fan and loves to ski and spend time with his family.
